What Bread collects

When you begin Bread's funding assessment, Bread collects your first name, email address, and organization or project type. You may also provide your last name. If you continue, Bread collects your answers and the result created from them. This information is saved even if you do not finish the assessment. The site may also receive basic technical information needed to operate securely, such as request and device information.

Please do not include confidential information or personal information about program participants or beneficiaries in the tool.

How Bread uses it

Bread uses this information to create and display your funding brief, understand what organizations need, improve the assessment, prevent misuse, and respond if you contact us.

When you complete the assessment, Bread emails you the result you requested. That result email may include a link to book a call about it. It does not add you to an ongoing marketing list.

If you separately check the optional funding-notes box, Bread may also email you occasional updates. Completing the tool does not automatically add you to that list.

How information is shared

Bread does not sell the information you submit through the tool. Information may be processed by service providers that help host, secure, maintain, or communicate through the site, and may be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the site, Bread, or others.

Retention and choices

Bread keeps submitted information for as long as it is reasonably useful for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. You may ask us to correct or delete the information you submitted. You may also unsubscribe from funding notes at any time.

A directional tool

The assessment offers general educational direction based on your answers. It does not determine eligibility, approval, investment suitability, legal status, or funding outcomes.
